Welcome to CohostSplit.com, operated by 742247 NB Inc., a registered corporation in New Brunswick, Canada ("CohostSplit," "we," "us," or "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CohostSplit website, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use CohostSplit.

By using our Service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using your email and password or Google sign-in.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

CohostSplit reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are found to be misused.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use CohostSplit solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.

You may:

• • Upload and manage CSV files related to your rental, hosting, or expense data.
• • Share data only with individuals you authorize through the platform.

• • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
• • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• • Upload content that violates any privacy, copyright, or data protection laws.
• • Misrepresent ownership or rights to data shared through the platform.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

CohostSplit may offer free trials, paid subscriptions, or one-time purchase options.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you authorize CohostSplit and Stripe to charge your selected payment method according to the plan's pricing.

All fees are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.

We may change pricing or features with advance notice via email or in-app notification.

6. Data Uploads and Sharing

When you upload CSVs or other data, you retain ownership of that content.

By uploading, you grant CohostSplit a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to process, store, and display the data for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you upload.

If you share data with team members or cohosts, you acknowledge that those users may view or modify shared information.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, design elements, text, logos, graphics, and other content within CohostSplit are the property of 742247 NB Inc. or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service or branding without prior written consent.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

We aim to provide continuous and reliable access to the platform, but occasional interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without liability, provided we give reasonable notice where possible.

9. Termination

You may stop using CohostSplit at any time by deleting your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if:

Upon termination, your access will cease, and your stored data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or complete accuracy of displayed data.

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 742247 NB Inc. and its directors, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to CohostSplit in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 742247 NB Inc. from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your uploaded content.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada.

Any dispute shall be brought before the courts of New Brunswick, Canada.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
